THE ARTISAN PROCESS & DESIGN
• Wheel-Thrown & Trimmed: Individually shaped by hand on the potter's wheel, then flipped and trimmed at the perfect leather-hard stage.
• Hand-Painted Plum Blossom Design: Once bone-dry, each piece is hand-painted with red plum blossoms and a trailing vine — a motif I started over 12 years ago.
• Red Slip Interior: The inside of the bottle and cups are finished with a red slip, offering a vibrant pop of color against the clean white exterior.
• Firing & Finish: A clear glaze is applied inside and out for a glossy shine, then the set is high-fired in an electric oxidation kiln for maximum durability.
