THE ARTISAN PROCESS & DESIGN
- Wheel-thrown & trimmed: Individually shaped on the potter's wheel, then trimmed by hand at the leather-hard stage for a clean, balanced form.
- White painted background: Hand-painted over the red stoneware exterior to create a smooth canvas for the design.
- Hand-painted bee & blossom design: Purple flowers, bright yellow honeybees, and honeycomb are painted by hand, bringing the jar to life with color and detail — no two pieces are ever exactly alike.
- Beige-white glazed interior: Finished with a warm, food-safe liner glaze for a clean interior finish.
- Firing & finish: A clear glaze protects and enhances the design, then the jar is fired in an electric oxidation kiln for lasting durability.
