Why this is discounted: The glaze on this piece came out slightly uneven, darker in some areas, and it's been sitting in my studio inventory for a while. Nothing wrong with it structurally — just ready to find its new home.

THE ARTISAN PROCESS & DESIGN
- Wheel-thrown & trimmed: Shaped on the potter's wheel, then trimmed by hand once firm enough to hold its form.
- Hand-painted grid technique: A grid is drawn using food coloring, which burns away in the first firing — this allows the cherry blossom pattern to be painted in a precise, repeatable design.
- Celadon glaze finish: Finished with a translucent blue celadon glaze and fired in an electric oxidation kiln.
Made by hand in small batches in my Denver studio — no AI, no mass production, just one potter and a paintbrush.
