Porcelain mug with cherry blossom pattern
*** Included in the sale because the glaze is a little uneven (darker in some areas) and its been in my inventory for a bit of time. It's ready for its new home and would be an excellent small coffee cup -- great size for a double espresso.

My process:
I make this mug on the potter's wheel. After it has been trimmed I create a grid using food coloring that burns out in the first firing. The grid allows me to add the design in a precise pattern. Mug is finished with a translucent blue celadon glaze and fired in an electric oxidation kiln.
