My process:
I make this bowl on the potter's wheel. After it has been trimmed I create a grid on it which allows me to add the slip trail design in a precise pattern. After it has been fired once, I apply a darker blue glaze on each of the flower's center dots. Then the bowl is finished with a translucent blue celadon glaze and fired in an electric oxidation kiln.
