Rustic Red Cherry Blossom Collection

Each piece starts with a stucco-textured exterior — layered slip transferred by hand, then wet-sanded until it's smooth to the touch, almost like aged plaster. A black wash settles into the texture for depth, and the cherry blossom motif is hand-painted directly onto the raw, unglazed clay.

Inside, a rich matte red glaze finishes the piece — practical, food-safe, and quietly warm against the rustic exterior. Variations of this pattern will have a glossy cranberry red glaze.

Made by hand in small batches in my Denver studio, one piece at a time.
