My process:
I use the potter's wheel to create this bowl. I generally make the bowl one day, trim the bottom foot the next day I then let it dry completely and then paint leaves on the outside and apply a red slip to the inside . I started painting this design more than 12 years ago and it has evolved this year. A clear glaze finishes the bowl on the inside and outside. Fired in an electric oxidation kiln.
