My process:
I use the potter's wheel to create this tea bowl. I generally make the tea bowl one day and trim the bottom foot the next day. I then let it dry completely and then paint blue plumflowers and a trailing vine on it. I have been painting this design since I returned to pottery about 12 years ago. It's been fun and interesting to see it evolve into its present rendition. A clear glaze finishes the cup, on the outside and coordinating blue glaze is on the inside fired in an electric oxidation kiln.
